It will happily answer a different question than the one set
Paste a question and an answer, and ChatGPT will find something to say about whatever you wrote, even if it has quietly drifted onto a related but different question. It has no reason to flag the drift, because it is not checking your answer against the exact question the way an examiner does.
It writes the essay for you
Ask ChatGPT to "improve" or "finish" your SAC response and, unless you are careful with the prompt, it will hand you back submittable text. Questions students actually ask
Is it cheating to use an AI to help with a SAC or assignment?
